Yuen is a Taoist priest of two traditions: the Jade Purity and Complete Reality  schools.  Mr. Yuen is the director of the acupuncture program at the Swedish Institute and president of the International Tai Chi Institute, both in New York City.  He was the first recipient of the "Educator of the Year Award," conferred by the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAOM).  Jeffrey lectures frequently to state and national associations of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, as well as hospitals, medical colleges and schools of Oriental medicine.   The many subjects of his lectures include Chinese facial diagnosis and morphology.
